Brian Parkkonen

Brian Parkkonen is an accomplished leader in the tennis education industry. He joined the PTR staff in April 2014 and currently serves as the organization's COO. With his extensive experience in the field, Brian has successfully developed and implemented various educational programs, including PTR's Education Dashboard, which offers free online video presentations to help coaches improve their skills. He has also been instrumental in developing PTR's partnership with the WTA and the WTA Performance Coaching Program. Before his role as COO, Brian served as the Director of Education, overseeing the direction and content of PTR's education pathways to certification and Level 3 Specialist and Master of Tennis programs. Brian started as the Director of Development at PTR and worked his way up the ladder. Before joining PTR, Brian had an impressive career as the Head Pro and Director of College Placement at the Van der Meer World Class Academy, as well as directing some of the country's largest public and private clubs. Brian's passion for developing and coaching players at the highest level is evident in his exclusive work with ITF and WTA players.
